Policy

House of Alliances provides a highly personalised, private matrimonial counsel service. All fees paid represent compensation for the time, expertise, and network of our founding advisors — not for any guaranteed outcome. The work of counsel begins from the moment a mandate is accepted.

We understand that circumstances change. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Within 7 days of mandate signing — Full refund, less a ₹25,000 administrative fee, if no introductions have been made and no personal counsel sessions have taken place.
• 8–30 days after signing — 50% refund of the mandate fee, at the sole discretion of the founding advisors, subject to a review of work already undertaken.
• After 30 days or after first introduction — No refund is available. All fees are considered earned upon commencement of active counsel.
• Legacy Mandate retainers — Refunds are governed by the specific retainer agreement signed at onboarding.

• Where introductions have been made and received.
• Where family meetings have been facilitated.
• Where background verification has been commissioned on your behalf.
• Where the candidate or family withdraws without cause after active search.
• Match fees (payable upon successful alliance) are non-refundable under any circumstance.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our founding advisors at [email protected], with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Family Name]". Requests are acknowledged within 5 working days and reviewed personally.

We are committed to resolving any dispute with the utmost discretion and fairness. In the event of an unresolved dispute, both parties agree to submit to private arbitration in New Delhi under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before pursuing any other remedy.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
